Complete Refurbishment of a Victorian semi-detached 5 bedroom house including large Kitchen extension and patio

Traditionally Victorian houses were designed having small living spaces making them even smaller with fireplaces taking up lots of room. Today’s living experience is very different and has an effect on the way that we now design our houses.

Creating a kitchen side extension not only meant getting rid of that common area of garden to the side of the kitchen which is never used but meant that the kitchen area would also double up as a living and entertainment area. So the kitchen extension not only increased the functionality of the home but also added value to the property. We also completely transformed the living space on the first floor and built a loft extension. The addition of extra bedrooms accommodated our client’s growing family and provided more space for their guests.
